Practice Mindfulness in Nature
October is an ideal time to immerse yourself in nature. Especially in light of the recent colder months.
Take mindful walks in the bush, visit your local hiking track, or simply enjoy the beauty of the nearest beach. Engaging with nature can be a powerful form of stress relief and connection with the world around you.
Try grounding exercises like deep breathing, meditation, or simply paying close attention to the sights and sounds of the natural world. Research shows that spending time in nature can reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance overall wellbeing.
This week’s intention: Try something different
Choose a path that you haven’t used or don’t usually walk down. Breathe in, take notice, and pay attention to the beauty around you. Your mind and body will be better off for it.
