Nurture Your Social Connections
As the weather warms up, it's a great time to nurture your social connections.
Host an outdoor get-together with friends or family, or engage in virtual meetups if in-person gatherings aren't possible.
Social support and connection are essential for your mental and emotional wellbeing. Strengthen your relationships, express gratitude, and practice active listening. Building and maintaining meaningful connections can help reduce stress, increase feelings of happiness, and provide a sense of belonging.
This week’s intention - Initiate contact
Take the initiative to reach out to people. Send a text, make a phone call, or organise a get-together. Don't wait for others to always make the first move.
By initiating contact, you demonstrate your interest in the relationship. Thus, building your social wellbeing.
